Parliament 100 years brochures are available in pdf-format on this page.

A centennial publication of about 30 pages on the parliamentary reform has been produced by Parliament. The publication tells about the historical events that led to the introduction of equal and universal suffrage and the establishment of the unicameral Parliament.

The publication is available in finnish, swedish, english, french, german, russian and spanish in Info centre.

The brochures are available in print at the Parliament Visitor's Centre, at the entrance for the public in Parliament House as well as in the Library of Parliament.

Parliament celebrates its centennial in 2006-2007
The centennial focuses on the parliamentary reform of the early 20th century and the introduction of equal and universal suffrage and full political rights for women. The centennial will be celebrated nationally and internationally, as well as bilingually in Finnish and Swedish.
