Parliament Elected Speakers

The Parliament of Finland elected its speakers on Wednesday 27th April (in the photo left to right): Anssi Joutsenlahti, Ben Zyskowicz and Jutta Urpilainen.

Ben Zyskowicz of the National Coalition was elected as the new Speaker with 194 votes. Leader of the Social Democratic Party Jutta Urpilainen is  the deputy speaker and Anssi Joutsenlahti (True Finns) is the second deputy speaker.  

The names of the speakers may change later in May, depending on the result of the government coalition negotiations.

Guided tours are available from Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. (not during plenary sessions). The tours require prebooking.
